Friday, Sept. 14th

We started out our day at Station 1 Fire House in Salt Lake City. Thank you so much to Capt. Kurt Cook and the rest of the guys there for taking us in. We were able to get caught up on laundry and really prepare for the road ahead. We were met there by the local CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates in Salt Lake. We are very gracious to them for taking the time to tell our story.

Here are some links to the stories they did today.
NBC - http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=1806592#
CBS - http://kutv.com/topstories/local_story_257203831.html

Thanks so much to Contender Bicycles who donated a bunch of necessities for the road.

Toady we have biked through the desert, the mountains, a brush fire, some lightning and a little rain. So needless to say, it has been a very eventful day. At this very moment, we are still on the road headed to Dinosaur, CO. We have about 60 miles left so we should arrive by about 1am central time.

Our overall morale is still very high. We are very enthusiastic about getting to Denver. We are planning to visit The Children’s Hospital on Monday morning. We are hoping to have all of our news coverage from the hospital. We are hoping to visit at least four children there who all are fighting Neuroblastoma.

We will keep you all updated on the plan for Denver. Once again, we can’t thank you enough for your continued support.

Love you all, see you soon.

Chris, Alec, and Dads, Best wishes on the Rockies. My daughter had her eigth birthday party today, and she requested in lieu of gifts to bring money for a donation for Grace, and the Food Allergy Network. We split the money in half. The kids contributed $175 to each group! Our thoughts and prayers are with y'all. Watch out for bears! Greg and Family.

...today we have biked through the desert, a brush fire, some lightning and a little rain...add too little sunshine and you could be describing the epic battle so many families experience fighting neuroblastoma. Thank you, keep safe. Angel Skylar's Grammy
